In addition, many communities of Nunavut have websites with information regarding Visitor Centres, local attractions, arts, tours, expeditions, cultural activities and a full range of visitor accommodations.
Gateway Visitor Centres
There are three major Visitor Centres in Nunavut, found in the regional centres of Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet and Cambridge Bay.
Unikkaarvik Visitor Centre — Iqaluit
This facility features several cultural exhibits and wildlife displays. It provides maps, tourism and historical information. Unikkaarvik also rents bicycles and shows Inuit movies. With special events, guest speakers and visiting exhibitions, there is always something new and enjoyable happening here.
